Advanced Rubber Technology
Preforming
Preforming is an essential step in compression molding processes. It involves pre-shaping raw rubber material into a specific size, weight, and shape, ensuring a uniform distribution of material throughout the cavity to be molded. This helps to achieve the desired end product with precision and accuracy.

Slit and Rolled
GSR has the expertise in producing high-quality materials for molding. With our two roll calendar, we can process a variety of compounds and create strips of any width up to 11.5 inches. This ensures even weight distribution and removes air pockets, resulting in a superior product and more efficient process. Our ability to calendar gauges from .020 to .150 makes us a versatile and reliable partner for any of your rubber projects

Extruded Preforms
Extrusion is a manufacturing process that involves forcing materials through a die to create a specific shape. The resulting extruded shape can then be cut to length to achieve a desired weight. This process is commonly used in the production of various products, including pipes, tubing, and even food items like pasta.

Die cut preforms
Steel rule dies are an effective way to cut a desired shape from calendared sheets that have been aged to take a set. This process helps to maintain uniformity after die cutting the desired shape.
Calendering
GSR's 42 inch three roll calender with a maximum working width of 36.5 inches is a reliable machine that can process a variety of materials with ease. Whether it's silicone impregnated into a glass cloth, E.P.D.M, Chloroprene, NBR, SBR, or Natural rubber, our calender is designed to handle these materials efficiently and effectively. Our team of experts ensures that the calender is maintained and calibrated to deliver consistent and high-quality results. If you have any questions or specific requirements, please let us know.
